1. The work in workout
If you do your own yardwork and housework, you definitely save money that would otherwise be spent on landscapers and house cleaning services. As an added bonus, you can receive a nice workout. Manually buffing the floors can result in buff muscles … just look at how Mr. Clean turned out … although having bleached eyebrows and wearing an earring might not be your thing.

If you have pets, you can save money by grooming them yourself. If you have a dog, it’s recommended that you take one to two 30 minute walks per day. In addition to providing necessary daily exercise for the dog, you’re receiving the health benefits of walking.
2. Calisthenics
Calisthenics include pushups, crunches, and more. The advantage of calisthenics is that they build muscular endurance without weights or gym equipment. If you travel and don’t have access to a fitness center or gym equipment, you can always use the resistance and weight of your own body. You are your own portable fitness center without the gym membership fee.
